This has been a busy week for us. Unfortunately every member of the family, including ME, had the stomach flu. I had a hard time making it outside to do my business for about 24 hours. Now that everyone is feeling better we are back to the house training. It's pretty cold outside again which is making it harder to go outside (BRRRRR). It's so much warmer inside. I had gotten pretty stinky while I was sick so mom had to give me a bath. I like watching the kids while they are bathing. I think the bubbles are really fun, but when it was my turn I was not so happy. And I really did not like the blow dryer. Mom kept saying I needed it though because my fur is so thick it would have taken hours for me to dry completely and it was so cold outside I would freeze if I wasn't dry. SO I suffered through it and got treats and snuggles when it was all done.

I still don't like it when the baby cries, I still sing along to drown him out. I taught the kids how to play fetch and to bring me cookies. I am learning not to use my teeth so much when playing. Mom has been using this clicker to train me, and I really like it. I am learning not to be so scared of strange noises and to stay focused on what I am supposed to be doing. I can be a runner when I am scared so knowing some treats are nearby helps keep me calm. Mom also bought me a kong and when it's stuffed with yummies, I stay entertained for a while.

Gotta run...........I see the clicker emerging!

Hey People! I went to the Vet on Monday. I weigh a whopping 15lbs (unbelievable hey?). The Vet said I am in really good health too! I met a nice old dog at the Vet clinic too and I got all excited.........(not sure if he was that excited about moi!)

I am becoming a spunky little guy(not apparent in this picture!!!), with a mischievous side (that's the best part about us puppies - it's kind of expected!). What is with this green stuff that appeared earlier this week? I think I prefer to do my business on the white stuff (then I can make it turn yellow!) My foster mom says that I have a better grasp of my routine which has made house training much better. At first they confined me to the kitchen, which made me very unhappy ;o( Then they let me have more freedom and have become a much happier guy!

I sleep great at night and settle really well in my kennel during the day when my humans leave or I need a break from them.
I have a new specialty. I guess you could call it a household chore. I love cleaning the floor after the kids have eaten. On Valentine's Day I got to clean up the sprinkles from the cookies they decorated. (And those little two legged humans didn't drop a cookie!!!! Hmmpphhh)

There is thing called a broom that my foster mom uses...........it is the best chase toy ever! I also like to take it upon myself to inspect all the dishes that have entered the dishwasher. It is amazing what goodies I spot!

Gotta run - I hear that dishwasher opening now!

Hey Folks, Hip Hop here! I have really settled in, in the few days I have been in my new foster home! After the first couple of nights I now settle down at night really quickly and sleep until I hear someone's feet hit the ground. This can be early if one of children wake in the night, but after a quick pee outside I go back in my kennel and back to sleep.
As a family we are learning about house training, and I am doing really well. I go outside with no problem and pee right away. Apparently I have been told that we have to work a little harder for job #2 but I will gradually get it. I am super duper affectionate and love to be petted. I do get very squirmy when picked up or on someone's lap. I wish these humans would realize.............I need these dancing feet on the floor!

I am somtimes a little lonely for another dog to keep me company, but my foster family does their best to keep me occupied. We did a session of clicker training this week and I did fantastic. I sit really good now and do much better when my humans give me my food. My foster mom said I sit for a millisecond now instead of jumpng all over them and trying to hoover my food before it hits the bowl.

We are working on my leash skills, mostly in the yard and of course my housetraining. I get a little skittish when I hear noises and am very excited to get back in the house (this world is full of new stuff). I love the snow and I like to investigate my surroundings (till there are noises of course!).

My house is very busy with three little boys, ages 2, 5 & 7. I get upset when the littlest is crying, and I cry along with him. Apparently my mom said my lungs are quite LOUD when I do this! I can tell mom thinks it's pretty funny but she doesn't let on that we are so cute crying the blues together. Honestly, I have to admit children are pretty cool......I quite these little two legged humans! Apparently, it is not polite to jump up so my foster family is going to help me work on this!

Gotta run now...........going to practice some new dance moves............I will see if I can master the "moon walk"
